Citizens' rights to access public information

  • Request and receive from any agency of the Dominican State, Corporations and Joint Stock Companies with state participation, accurate, appropriate and timely information.

  • Free access to such information, while this does not require reproduction.

  • Disseminate information of the State administration.

  • Knowing and comment on draft regulations and other general provisions which affect the relation between individuals and the state administration.

  • Learn about the services offered by the state and their rates.

  • Understanding the budgets, members, operational standards, projects, reports and database management of public administration.

  • Get information on programs and projects, budgets, timelines, implementation and monitoring.

  • Access the State payroll and salary.

  • Keeping track of bids, tenders and results, purchases and spending.

  • To know the sworn statements of state officials, when presentation is stipulated by law.

  • Receive information about the list of beneficiaries of assistance programs, grants, scholarships, pensions, retirements and withdrawals.
